On Saturday, March 23rd we gathered to celebrate the beginning of Spring and Easter traditions.

TYRMC citizens Alicia Blore and Jacob Wanuch dazzled us with their musical talents.

We had talented jiggers Teagan de Laronde and Megan Southwell show us a few moves.

Artist Kathy Morgan held a workshop on  traditional Métis Dot Art, a special art form that uses dots of paint to mimic traditional beading styles.

We even had a variety of animal pelts on display to learn more about the Métis cultural history of trapping.

It’s always fun to gather with our Métis citizens, family, and friends. We hope to see you at the next event!
