Centennial Park Playground and Water Play Area Indigenous Sharing Circle

January 24 — 24, 2024
6:00pm—8:00pm

Centennial Park is getting a new, accessible Playground and Water Play Area that will include Indigenous Placekeeping. We want to hear your thoughts!

The City is looking for local Indigenous community members of all ages and abilities to join a virtual Indigenous Sharing Circle, to provide feedback on the proposed redesign of the Playground and Water Play Area. No professional experience is necessary. An honourarium will be provided for participation in the meeting.

Indigenous Elder Catherine Tammaro (on the design team) is helping to guide the inclusion of Indigenous Placekeeping. The Ridge Road will lead the meeting Indigenous Sharing Circle.

We want to hear your thoughts! Join us for a virtual meeting on January 24th, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm
