The TYRMC would like to invite you to our Powley Day Celebration that is happening on Saturday September 24th, 2022 from 10:00am-12:00pm. We will be gathering at our community garden at Allan Gardens Conservatory.

Join us as we remember the decade long fight led by the MNO with Steve and Roddy Powley for recognition of Métis harvesting rights in the R. v. Powley case. We will be joined by Métis earth worker, Ethan Dankert-Lannigan, who will discuss harvesting practices including harvesting of The Four Sacred Medicines and other key traditional plants. We will also be providing snacks, giveaways, and a kids activity table.
