It’s that time of year!

Youth can now apply for thousands of jobs through the Canada Summer Jobs program.

Through the Canada Summer Jobs program, we are investing in our young people, and nurturing a generation of dynamic and skilled individuals who will contribute to the growth and prosperity of our community and our country for years to come.

The value of a summer job extends far beyond the warm months of May, June, July, and August. It can be a transformative experience that equips young people with the skills they need to navigate the challenges of the professional landscape and emerge as confident, capable contributors to society.

Youth can apply for jobs by visiting jobbank.gc.ca/youth or through the Job Bank mobile app. Visit the website regularly because new jobs will be posted over the coming months! Jobs are available in many different sectors—creating opportunities that match different interests.  The Job Bank website can connect all job seekers with tools and services to search current Canadian jobs, get matched to jobs, subscribe to email alerts, build a resume, refer to labour market trends, and find resources.

The Youth Digital Gateway helps young people prepare for their future. Youth can volunteer, plan their education, and explore careers.  They can also get help with their resume, prepare for an interview, and find the right job for them!

Young people can discover the many career paths that the Government of Canada has to offer across the country through the Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) and gain meaningful experience working on projects and initiatives that impact the lives of Canadians.
