It was great to be part of the excitement at the Chippewas of Georgina Island Annual Pow Wow on Sept 27 and Sept 28 in Sutton!

Beautiful fall days to vend alongside all the others, with Secretary Christine and
2SLGBTQ+ councillor Pierre selling our Métis sashes and other cool things!

The days were filled with dancing and culture. Beautiful regalia, drumming and singing!

Always a chance to inform the community about our culture, what we do and the meaning of our sash.

TYRMC Communications & Programs Coordinator Atika got a chance to participate in the intertribal dance, excited to represent, in her Métis sash.

Overall a culture and fun filled weekend. Hope to see you there next year!
